NOTES

Fresh squeezed juice
This is always the best option for a bright cocktail, especially when it comes to orange and grapefruit juices. Fresh frozen lime and lemon juice will work, but don’t use a lime or lemon concentrate.

Orange liquor
This is an important component to any good Margarita. There are many options here, the best traditional choice would be Cointreau. After that you have Combier d’ Orange or Triple sec. If you’d like a Margarita with a richer and more complex taste, Grand Marnier is ideal. A less expensive option would be Gran Galla which will still give you that Orange brandy taste.

Grapefruit soda
We recommend either Squirt or Jarritos.

Toasted coconut
Purchase sweetened, shredded coconut and lay on a sheet pan. Place in oven at 350 degrees – check every few minutes till its all partially toasted. Remove and let cool. Place in air tight container.
